Six Shot Sequence
The shots six shot sequence are extra wide shot, wide shot, medium shot, close up, extra close up, and over the shoulder. The extra wide shot sets the sense and tell who is in the sense. The wide shot tells the viewer what the main character is doing. The medium shot show the person from the hips up. The close up is just of the face. The extra close up is a close up of the hands, computer, or shoes. The last one, over the shoulder, shows what the person is doing.
During this project,
I learn what the six shot sequence was. I will absolutely use that in my
project. While filming, Marco was setting at the beach with a window behind
him. It wasn't like I could stick the camera behind him to get over the
shoulder shot. I had to learn to adjust my tripod to get the perfect shot.
