The Interview
Walking into video this quarter was a little alarming, I knew nothing about video. But after just a couple of days, we had started to learn what made up a video, the six shot sequence. The six shot sequence is, extra close up (the hands), close up (the face), medium (hips up), wide (head to toe), and the last one is an extra wide shot (the scene and the person in the video).
The first video was
one of the hardest because it was the first time I had used the six shot sequence.
The one of the last videos we did, the chase scene was one of the easiest to film.
That video took a lot longer to film, but if something didn’t work we could see
it during the filming not the showing of our video. And when our last video
rolled around, my partner, Sydney, and I could film each of our projects in one
day and feel confident in them. It is cool to see the progress I have made this
quarter and I can only hope this will happen next quarter in graphic design.
