Saul Bass Movie Poster

For this project we had had to make a movie poster over a movie we had seen in the last couple years. We had to use inspiration from Saul Bass. We had some requirements to follow.

1. 2-3 elements. I had the maze. For my next element I made people out of the maze.
2. 1-3 colors. I had a brown and black with green. I also changed up the font colors.
3. Custom type. I found a type on the internet and adjusted the kerning among other things. 

For each poster, Saul Bass either induces a character or tells a back story. I decided to tell the back story. "People running through the maze," seemed like a good idea. Sketching is always a good idea. I sketched 3 different ideas, talked my teacher, and picked one I thought was good.  Make sure to ask the people around you what they think. My original project was the one with the black background. My peers told me that that was a little dark. They said to make the black a light brown. That's what I did. I can't figure out which one I like better.
